A Good Night's Sleep

Have you ever gone out during on the week or weekend and stayed up so late? Then the next day came around and you barely get yourself out of bed to get to work because you hardly slept the night before? Once you get there you’re so tired you can’t even concentrate. Sometimes you can’t even operate normally, you get brain fog and more. Imagine that you’d only be using a small part of your brain when you don’t get enough sleep the night before; it’s like having a full tank of gas but only being able to hop around your office.

This is why sleep is so important. The brain does some pretty serious business during this time. Of course, this time allows your body to heal, repair and keep you sharp and attentive. If you’ve ever been caught up staying up late at parties, or studying until the break of dawn all that can wait until the sun comes up. Go to bed earlier instead. In fact, receiving insufficient sleep patterns can put a KhaleejiGirl at a higher risk of so many things such as (to name a few):

· developing depression,

· cognition and memory problems,

· neurological disorders like Alzheimer’s

· dementia

If this sounds like a scare tactic, I don’t mean to freak anyone out. However, I can’t stress the benefits of prioritizing sleep enough for beauty, weight management, and even more issues like your health and cognitive function. Even uneven sleep like taking naps can have a positive impact on your health. So, if prioritizing sleep has not proved beneficial in the actual ability to sleep, it may be smart to talk to a doctor about possible solutions.

A good night of sleep is like a good restart for your brain. It effectively wipes unwanted things out and reorganizes the center of your memory like decluttering it; it’s like taking out the garbage, each and every night. When your brain doesn’t have this important time to spring clean and take out the trash, this is what can increase your risk of dementia.

This cultivates the best environment for the brain to start powering down its daytime activity, and powering up its very important nighttime role.
